This blog is my personal space to share knowledge, insights, and hard-earned lessons from the world of cybersecurity.

I primarily publish:

  • Hack The Box (HTB) writeups
  • Pentesting cheatsheets
  • Notes, tools, and observations from real-world CTFs, labs, and research

Whether you’re a beginner looking to learn, or a seasoned hacker looking to swap notes — I hope you’ll find something useful here.

🤔 Why “Cubit” or “copper_nail”?

It all started with my nickname — “cu” is short for Copper, and I liked the sound of it.

  • Cubit plays on that, combining “cu” with a unit of measurement — fitting for a blog that measures progress, skills, and notes in cybersecurity.
  • Later, copper_nail felt even more appropriate: copper for conductivity (think networks, circuits), and nail for pinning down knowledge. It’s a metaphor — this blog is where I hammer in the details that matter.

Whether it’s a writeup, a cheatsheet, or a quick note from a late-night pwn — this is where I store and share what I learn.
